I love our HIGH SKINNY, it's still my go-to-jeans to match with an oversized top. One limitation I find when developing skinny fits is that it's difficult to use 100% cotton rigid raw denim because it's often uncomfortable for the wearer. So I use denim with a little bit of stretch for increased comfort. Of course, we have our CLASSIC - high rise straight leg jean (see this post for more on CLASSIC).
But we needed something that is slimmer in legs. Let's be honest; wider leg jeans are great, but who doesn't need a good pair of tapered selvedge jeans to show off your shoes with?
Our answer is MAX. Let's take a look at the fit.
The waist placement is golden. It's high enough to emphasize the curve from the waist to the hip.
The back yoke and back pockets are designed and placed strategically to compliment your behind regardless of your body type.
It's fitted, but not skin tight. This is why we can use 100% cotton rigid raw denim. The small leg opening is great for all weather: it goes well with sandals or sneakers, or you can tuck it in your boots when there's snow on the ground.
